Final 4 sings Elvis
Well, after listening to the first 4 songs, Elliot has done the best of the group. I actually said, "Wow". I loved it. I thought Taylor was ok, but not final 4-worthy, and Katherine was like all over the place. She concentrated more on her dancing and jumping around than her song and it sounded like she forgot the words. oh wait... apparently, she did. Chris was good, as usual and he picked my all time favorite Elvis song.
The second set of songs started better for Taylor, I think. He put a nice touch/spin to it for me. Chris picks A Little Less Conversation which is another of my most fave Elvis songs. I see in my head that guy from last season (?) with the curly hair who butchered it. Chris made it kinda sultry and sexy and then he rocked it out. It was a great rendition. Elliot picked a fun song for his second and I think he showed a nice, fun side. He did a good job, I'd say he was the best of the night overall. He'll probably be in the bottom two, but I hope Taylor is the one to go tomorrow. I agree with the judges he was the best of the night, Elliot has really been the only one that stepped it up to the level of the Final Four type performance. The others kind of relied on their natural 'goodness'. Katherine's final performance didn't bowl me over. It was just aight for me. LOL
Its funny, the judges have said, "see you in the finale" to each of them tonight. how much room is ther for the final 3? LOL

I agree with all of Linda's comments - lol Elliott was great tonight - Chris, as always , loved him. Taylor was okay and Katherine was okay too - but they weren't my favorites tonight.
I'm hoping Taylor goes tonight, but it may be Katherine. We'll see…
I thought that everyone did a good job last night. I thought that Simon was harsh on Katherine. I truly enjoyed her performances, but I think her nerves sometimes get the best of her.
Taylor - was good, but not worthy as the winner of American Idol.
Chris had me worried on his 2nd song. I agree with Simon that he sounded flat in the beginning. But then he picked it up at the end and I loved it.
Elliot - Was ok and I guess the best of the night.
My picks for bottom 2 are Taylor and Katherine, but rumor has it that Chris had the lowest amount of votes last night. Katherine was the 2nd. We'll have to wait and see tonight.
Where are you getting these 'rumors' from? How do they know? tell, tell!

TAYLOR - Was meant to perform "Jailhouse Rock" and his 2nd song "In the Ghetto" blew me away -- by far his BEST performance!
ELLIOT - Sang "If I Can Dream" & "Trouble". I can't remember how these songs go but I do know he performed really well. I'd like to see Elliot in the final 3
CHRIS - Sang "A Little Less Conversation" which I loved and like Simon I didn't care for the sunglasses. I don't think his 2nd song "Suspicious Minds" was as strong but still a solid performance.
KATHARINE - Again I agreed with Simon. Katharine performance of "Hound Dog/All Shook Up" was a little too much. And I can't critique her 2nd song "Can't Help Falling in Love" because it didn't tape. How was it?
Bottom 2: Chris :( & Katharine with the hopes that Katherine will go. I think, Taylor & Elliot have too many fans supporting them.
PS Don't be impressed that I knew all the songs -- I looked them up.

Lin - You have me thinking... who is the curly haired guy who butchered the song Chris sang????? You must find out it's driving me crazy!!! LOL
