Country Boot-Off
So that you guys don't beat me up, I'm half posting. I'll write more in the morning, but go ahead and blog away.
well, as I was watching and they separated the remaining 9 into 3 groups, I thought -- Juanita nailed it, its Bucky, Ace and Katherine. Then Lo and Behold, say it ain't so! Its Mandisa, Elliot and Paris.
Now, I'm torn, I'm sure Mandisa will sit down but of the remaining 2, I would prefer Paris to go, because she is more one dimensional and I'd love to see where Elliot will take it.
Then - surprise again - Paris sits down. and somehow, America kicks off Mandisa. I'd pegged her for one of the top 3! My guess is that America just didn't vote for her because they figured she would get enough backing and used their calls for the other, weaker singers.

What a surprise! I thought the bottom 3 would be Ace, Bucky and Katherine just from prior Bootoffs - but nope.
And then I thought it would be Elliot for some reason of the 3. I was slightly surprised, yet not about Mandisa.
Next week should be interesting with the music of Queen. I wonder who will tackle Bohemian Rhapsody. Wasnt Constantine the one who sang it last season? I seem to recall that he did a really good job.

And how much plastic surgery do you think Kenny Rogers has had? He just doesn't look the same to me at all - LOL I tuned in the middle of the show and I had no clue it was him til I hit rewind to find out. Whoa. LOL

Last nights boot off was a total shocker. Wow, I never saw that coming. Any way, I would have sworn on my life that Bucky, Katherine and Ace were in the bottom 3. It appeared that Katherine was very blase' about the grouping as if she knew she was safe. I don't know, but America definitely got it wrong last night.
Yes Mere, Kenny Rogers is inded unrecognizable. I thought it was because of his short hair, but it is definitely because of plastic surgery.

Yeah I thought Jay Leno should have gone based on his horrible performance the night before.. Mandeesa will go very far, very soon..
I know my parents couldn't stop commenting on how different and how much plastic surgery Kenny had done that he was unrecognizable.. my father kept calling him brokeback mountain he thinks he's now not only gone plastic surgery silly but is a gay cowboy..lol
You couldn't find a wrinkle on Kenny Rogers face if you tried! No question about it that he went under the knife.
Who else fast forwarded/or walked away on Kenny Roger's performance? I sure did - LOL
Group 1: Taylor, Chris & Kelly (Simon predicts these 3 will be the final 3) were grouped together and safe.
Group 2: Ace, Bucky & Katherine.
Also thought this group was in the bottom. Makes me wonder how big Bucky's fan base is.
Group 3: Mandisa, Elliot & Paris - Paris deserved to go this round but as we know it was Mandisa.
I can't wait to see what happens when they sing songs from Queen!
I had to go back and check out the links Juanita posted. Man what was UP with that DRESS??????? It wasn't a dress is was like a bathing suit with a sarong - I mean REALLY - it was more - check out my underwear! LOL
And Taylor with Brown hair - I think he was pretty nice to look at when he was younger - whoa he aged fast!
So - there I commented on the links! LOL
Juanita - you GOTTA be kidding. Mandisa has NOT gotten noticibly thinner. Now that Flavia's gone off Coffee, I can take her comments more seriously and I totally agree. Are you on crack, J? ;)
