Well, I don't think there were any big surprises last night.
Gedeon and Wilma were kicked off. I'm not sad, it would have been a shame to lose one of the good guys for him.
Kinnick (Thank God) and Ayla were also booted. I was thrilled with Kinnick and I didn't much care if it was Melissa or Ayla. I felt bad that she was so upset, but I suppose there are a lot of emotions going on.
but on another note... Here is the American Idol for 2022:

First of all - You are a loser. LOL. I guess you have too much time on your hands that you had time to paste your picture onto an Am. Idol background. The picture of you is cute. It's the first picture since your christmas picture that I've seen you pregnant. hehehe - Your'e sooo cute.
The girls were pretty easy to determine who was going to get the boot. I believe Kinnick knew her fate, but Ayla thought she had a chance to make it against Melissa. I was happy Melissa made it through. I think she is pretty talented.
I was shocked as heck when Kevin was said to be safe. I never once thought Gedeon would be voted off. He was definitely shocked, but held himself gracefully. He sang his resong beautifully. It's a shame that he was so annoying because he really had talent.
BTW - Kelly Pickett is really, really starting to annoy me.
I honestly didn't watch any of the resings since I didn't enjoy the original performances.
As for pasting my photo in - nope I'm actually that weird that I stood there and made not one but TWO people take my pic in front of their banner.

I kinda heard the story behind the photos!! I walked in the kitchen and overheard Bonnie telling the story but I wasn't really paying attention because I didn't know it was about YOU!!!! Is that a real AI banner? LOL!
Ok, I know I have not blogged in 2 days... (I feel like I should start that sentence over with "Help me Father, for...") LOL Seriously, I had other important things going on to blog. (I can faintly hear Lin & Juanita saying "what's more important than blogging"? Anyway, I was going to recap on the girls/guys performances but figured what's the point? However, I did like Mandisa, Katherine, Kelly, Melissa/Chris, Taylor & Gedeon's performances the best. Ace & Bucky I was on the fence about. As for the rest of the girls & guys they were just okay.
Lin, I agreed with you regarding Melissa's hair - she just looked trashed!
Pretty happy with the Top 12 with the exception of Kevin. Gedeon got the boot instead of Kevin - that is just wrong! "The Granny votes" will keep Kevin in for another 3 weeks. (Melissa will be the first to leave then Bucky then finally Kevin - I'm clairvoyant, didn't you know?)
I always seem to forget how young Ayla is but last night I was reminded of her age. The vulnerability that the judges wanted from her was to say the least apparent last night. I felt bad for her especially when she had to sing. I don't think Ayla is at all use to losing but she handled herself very well as well as Gedeon, Wil(ma) - only for you Lin and Kinnick(y) - for me (tee hee).
Juanita, tell us how you really feel about Kelly? LOL
Oh, and did I hear right that next Idol will be 2 hours long!?!?!?
Well - I still havent heard the guys yet. Hey - I'm on vacation! But I'll watch them when I get home. Glad by the choices for getting kicked off. Kinnick & Ayla were my 2 bottom women. Kevin needs to go next - but yeah - the granny votes will probably keep him around for awhile. UGH.
So Linda - whats the freaking story with the AI banner thing - do you THINK you can sing???? LOLOL
C- you DEFINITELY have other things on your plate. I'm surprised that you even had the time to watch it.
As for the AI background story, I walked off of an elevator for a meeting I had yesterday, and walked right into the display. This company apparently makes all the backdrops for the auditions - and other Idol promo stuff. So we're all having a serious meeting and all, and as we leave, I look at Jackie and go, can you take a photo of me with my camera phone (photo 2) and the guy overheard us and said he could get his real digital camera. So I took my coat back off and posed.
I think Bonnie was initially pretty embarrassed but everyone was having such a good time laughing at my antics (with the posing, fake microphone, and all) that she quickly went from embarrassed to enjoying the side show.
And -- did no one get the 2022 reference? I'm not the Idol... baby Correia (who will hopefully have Mike's voice) will be! LOL
Since Idol is on and we're blogging, I thought it would be a perfect photo to accent our opinionated selves. LOL LOL
