Idol Boot-off week 7
The show opened with the five of them singing Bridge Over Troubled Water. I was impressed. I loved the group songs in seasons past, but haven't liked one this season yet. I like the way Bo and Scott's voices harmonized. Someone (one of the women) seemed to oversing the rest of them. But overall, it was the best group song. On the opposite extreme, that silly song to the dog was lame. Now on to the boot off.
Well, well, well...They did the twist thing again, they all started standing on stage and called off Anthony and Scott to sit back on the sofa. Scott says a thanks to the All Mighty.
Bo looks stricken on stage. Vonzelle is smiling like, 'thats all right' (but it really isn't). They get to Carrie and Ryan says, America, look at your top 3.
Now I agree, but isn't that just plain mean to Scott and Anthony? Meredith did a lot of chanting. But it was Scott going home. Some will cheer, but at this stage, I think it has to be the best singers and Anthony had TWO bad performances this week and has been more consistently bad every week previously! What is this guy made of?
The bottom two sang a song from last night. I closed my eyes and listened to Anthony's song. It wasn't as bad as last night. Yet I still firmly believe that it was the night that the Russian goes home. But he didn't. pooh.

Anyway - I'm happy Scott is gone. And all I have to say is that if Anthony survives next week - I will be dumbfounded. And there is nothing right in the world… LOL

I agree that I'm happy that Scott's gone, but I wished Anthony would have gotten the boot first. oh well- Down to the 4 finalist. Yes, Mere hopefully Anthony will be gone next week - Are we still chanting or are we finally convincee that it's not working?
BTW - Did anyone watch Primetive Live with Corey Clark? I think he totally set Paula Abdul up. He kept all telephone reciepts from 2 years ago, he kept the cough syrup she gave him, kept all the reciepts of when she took him shopping and saved all phone messages and the original paper he claims lead him to call her with her home and cell number on it - Come on who does that - Only a person who is trying to profit from it later. From what it sounds, Paula treated him well and he burned her for no reason at all. Well, it may be Paula's last season on American Idol. Question is why she would ruin her career with that LOSER. Can we all say UGLY
In Fla's defense -- she wrote that after gulping down a gigantoid cup of coffee! LOL
Anyway, as far as the Idol "twist" --- soooooo obvious. Even Anthony knew it. When he walked back to the couch you hear him saying "it's not over" under his breath (but we hear it because he's wearing a mic). The only person that thought Scott was safe going back to the couch was poor gullible porky. LOL I was like, "Wake up, Scott you're in the bottom!" Meanwhile, Anthony is trying to get Scott's attention to tell him that one of them will go home but Scott is praying too hard to take notice. LOL
We soon find out that --- the 3 remaining idols on stage: The Vonz, Bo & Carrie are the top 3. Whoo Hoo!
It's later revealed that it is Anthony's birthday and all I could think about was "What a shame to get booted off on your b-day". But apparently, his birthday wish overruled you and Mere's chants! because Scott is sent packing. He had a good run so I'm not sad to see him go. And I think it's safe to say that Anthony will go home next week. I'm willing to bet on it.
So, what do you guys think about the Paula scandal? Do you think she should get ousted from Idol?
First of all, I don't think we ever need that additional explanation: Flavia just had a huge cup of coffee, that's a given.
And there is no second of all. LOL LOL
I really didn't care that it was Anthony's b-day. I wanted him to go first. Yeah, Scott had a good run, but A deserved to go so much more.
Scotts been more inconsistent than Anthony, but - to me -- A's been more consistently bad (or at least not good).
And overall, i can't tell which is harder on the eyes, Porky's face (which is a tad smug at times) or Anthony's (which is a bit smarmy).
...and OH yeah! i heard that "its not over". I think he didn't mean for anyone to hear it, but, as you said, his mike was on. Poor Porky, still, cuz he was duped.
Now... on to Paula. Freak of nature, she's kinda a train wreck, but I like how Simon gets her and riles her up. I saw Nigel L. on ET or something and he was defending her, saying that she's done a wonderful job on Idol for four years running, blah blah blah.
That Corey's a freak, too.
Well, I think it's obvious that Corey the LOSER set her up! I don't have a problem with the alleged affair but I do think she was absolutely wrong for coaching him to have an edge in the competition. What was she thinking!?!?!? Anyway, although we've said she is annoying as a judge, Idol won't be the same without her.
All I have to say is that Paula is a cold hearted snake look into her eyes UhOh she's been telling lies -

Nahh.. Corey skeevats Clark is the real Snake he's totally doing this to publicize himself and is hurting Paula in the process the woman has enough problems but it seems like Idol is on her side and hopefully she won't be going anywhere anytime soon and as annoying as she is -like my girl Chenita said Idol wouldn't be the same without her.
Oh, did you guys hear the latest Idol scandal? Apparently, Kimberly Clarke (3rd runner up in AI 2)is dating one of the producers of Idol. And the only response was "any relationship between Clarke and an AI staff was formed after the competition" JUICY, huh?

Oh please - I would have been surprised if he hadn't done drugs at some point in his life. He's 29 - he's not 16.
